Thanks to George for letting me operate the contest from his station. I spent the day prior to the contest working on a tower project at N5XU in downtown Austin. I was pretty wiped out when I sat down to the contest and had some trouble focusing. There was no propagation for the first hour of the contest, though, and I was only able to work a handful of local stations. We had Eskip into Colorado for an hour or so, starting around 0130 UTC, but I never heard more than two stations out there. N0KE sounded like he was running a lot of Texans, but I could never get a run of Coloradans to match. I couldn't work any stations in the final hour of the contest.
